Race For Education Boardmember Paul Saylor's daughter Oliva Saylor died in a fire in her home in Charleston South Carolina on Saturday morning January 1st. She was 21. Oliva was familiar to many of us at The Race For Education, participating in events related the Ashado Scholarship and the Fleet Indian Scholarship, both sponsored by her father. We would like to express our most sincere condolences to Mr. Saylor and his family and to Olivia's many friends.
A gathering will be held for Olivia in Atlanta, GA on Thursday, January 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son- Arlington Chapel (173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 – 404/851-9900 –
www.hmpattersonarlington.com). The funeral service will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel on Friday, January 7th at 11:00am.
At the family's request, a memorial scholarship has been established in Miss Saylor's name. Contributions can be made
