JF Bloodstock announce the appointment of RFE grad Chance Timm

Lexington – July 25th 2010: John Fulton Bloodstock has announced the appointment of Chance Timm to its staff. Chance, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, began his career in the Racing Industry as a Race For Education Scholarship Recipient and attended the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program. Graduating from Arizona Cum Laude, Chance began working for Legacy Bloodstock in Lexington prior to being accepted to the Darley Flying Start Course. During his time on the Flying Start Chance was able to travel to Argentina for an externship working with Antonio Bullrich of Bullrich SA. It was in Argentina that John and Chance were able to develop a professional relationship that has led to his appointment. Having completed the Flying Start program earlier this month, Chance will begin his role at JF Bloodstock immediately.

Said Chance of his recent appointment, “I am ecstatic, I had such a great experience while in Argentina working with John and Antonio. I am looking forward to working with John again, he is a great mentor, with a storied success in the thoroughbred business across the world. I trust I will learn a lot, and am anxious to help him expand his bloodstock business across both hemispheres.”

JF Bloodstock will now have a more direct presence in the U.S. with Chance being based in Lexington and John travelling frequently from South America and the U.S. John has established himself as the premier contact for bloodstock transactions and racing partnerships within South America. Expanding business not only in South America but also in the U.S. has led to John adding Chance to his staff. John Fulton said of the growth in his business, “I’ve been fortunate; I think many people have realized during the economic downturn the advantages of racing and purchasing horses in South America. Their success has led to further business for me back in the States where we will be buying for our South American clients, it’s an exciting time and I’m confident Chance will be able to further our business.”
