Great Things Happen at Belmont

2009 NTWA / Youbet.com Journalism Scholarship recipient Patrick Raleigh was on hand covering the races for WFUV, Fordam to see WinStar Farm's Drosselmeyer win the Belmont Stakes G1. This highlighted a great day for The Race For Education in New York.  
Also racing on Belmont day were Starlight Stables' Take The Points in the Manhatten and Checklist in the True North. 


The Race For Education was represented by winners of two legs of the 2010 Triple Crown. Super Saver also owned by WinStar Farm was racing for education in the Kentucky Derby. 

All of the day's runners contributed nearly $7000 to The Race For Education. 

Also on hand was RFE alum Amelia Baldree who just began working in the Marketing Department for NYRA after receiving her MBA from the American University of Dubai.
