Zenyatta is an American champion Thoroughbred racehorse. She remains undefeated in her 17 starts. She has won 17 races from as many starts, 15 of these being Graded stakes races including 11 Grade I events. She is one of only a few undefeated horses in American Thoroughbred racing history, which include Colin and the late "super filly" Personal Ensign.This halter was worn by Zenyatta in 2009 and was donated to The Race for Education by her trainer, John Shirreffs.

Rachel Alexandra is a currently active American Thoroughbred filly racehorse and the 2009 Horse of the Year winner. She has won races in six states (KY, LA, AR, MD, NY, and NJ.), on 8 different tracks, against fillies and top colts and older horses, achieving a long string of consecutive wins including many Grade 1 stakes races.
