XPRESSBET TAKES LEAD IN THE RACE FOR EDUCATION - Wagering Company Sponsors $20,000 Scholarship

   LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, May 3, 2010—The Race For Education, a non-profit scholarship foundation based in Lexington announced today that XpressBet Inc. will sponsor a $20,000 scholarship for a student to attend the Race Track Industry Program at the University of Arizona.
 
    The Race Track Industry Program offers two career tracks that have developed many important leaders and young executives in racing. The program’s business path prepares students for employment in the areas of track management, regulation and pari-mutuel enterprises. The equine management path prepares students for employment in the fields associated with the training and breeding of horses.

    A selection committee will choose the scholarship recipient, based on criteria to be established by The Race For Education and XpressBet. Applications for the scholarship, which will be paid over a period of four years, will be accepted from December 1 through February 28, 2011.  The RTIP of University of Arizona will match the scholarship up to $5000 per year if the recipient maintains a 3.5 GPA.
